The next step in hand crafting you new Zeigler Kitchens cabinetry consist of taking the information from the final on site measurements and creating shop drawings and a work order for each individual cabinet, and components.
Once the order hits the shop a cut list will be wrote up for the frames and returns for your new cabinetry. Once this is completed they will then cut all the stiles and rails for the cabinetry, along with all the returns.
Once all the parts are cut the frame parts will be mortise and tenon to create a tight strong joint when assembled. All the frames will be custom built one at a time in out pneumatic frame clamp.
Once the frames are all assembled they are ran through our wide belt sander to make the frames a consistent thickness. Once this is completed all the frames and returns will have the proper dado grooves in all the pieces. Then everything gets ran through the wide belt sander to create a nice smooth sanded finish.
From this point all the other cabinet components are cut and your new cabinetry will be assembled.
Once the cabinetry is assembled it then moves into the finish area to be sanded to perfection and finished with exquisite detail to attention. All our finishes are Sherwin Williams Water White Conversion Varnish, or pigmented paints to create a smooth hard finish that will last for decades.
Once the cabinetry is finished it then move to our hardware department where everything is inspected, hardwared, and ready for delivery.
